Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English across a range of ages and abilities, with a focus on both English Language and English Literature.

- Participate in the school's strong Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the learning experience.
- Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and departmental initiatives.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Manage classroom resources and ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in English education.
- Ability to teach English Language and/or English Literature at A-Level.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student success and professional development.
- Experience working in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL).
- Background in delivering high-quality CPD sessions or training.
- Experience in a school that is part of a multi-academy trust (MAT).
- Demonstrated ability to work with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
