The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Economics and Accounting to A-Level students.
- Monitor and assess student progress using the school’s in-house systems and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Support students’ academic and personal development through positive relationships and pastoral care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver the curriculum in line with awarding organisation specifications.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities and trips that enhance student engagement with Economics and Accounting.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices through professional development and sharing of best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and procedures.
- Support the school’s mission and values by fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Economics and/or Accounting.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach A-Level Economics.
- Experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to a range of students.
- Ability to assess student work and provide effective feedback.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and pastoral care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Accounting as a second subject.
- Experience with extra-curricular activities and student engagement initiatives.
- Experience in working within a large, successful school or college.
- Familiarity with the school’s in-house systems and assessment procedures.
- Experience in curriculum development and collaboration with colleagues.
