Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons to students across key stages.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote achievement and a love of learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to help students reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s academic standards.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of the school’s leadership programme, supporting students in developing key life skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Engage with parents and the wider community to support student learning and school values.
- Stay up to date with developments in Maths education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience of delivering Maths to GCSE standard.
- Proven ability to achieve outstanding attainment and achievement in a school setting.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective teaching strategies.
Preferred
- Experience of working in a school with a leadership specialism.
- Experience of teaching in a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Experience of using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Experience of mentoring and supporting other teachers.
