Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons to students across key stages.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote achievement and a love of learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to help students reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s academic standards.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of the school’s leadership programme, supporting students in developing key life skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Engage with parents and the wider community to support student learning and school values.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Maths education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of delivering Maths to GCSE standard.
  • Proven ability to achieve outstanding attainment and achievement in a school setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing effective teaching strategies.

Preferred

  • Experience of working in a school with a leadership specialism.
  • Experience of teaching in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Experience of using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Experience of mentoring and supporting other teachers.
