The Opportunity:

As an EFL Teacher Summer School, you will deliver high-quality English language instruction to international students aged 11-16. You will use engaging, learner-centred teaching methods such as CLIL and project-based learning, and support students in their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons using a variety of teaching methodologies.
  • Plan and implement lessons that align with the school’s academic programme and student pathways.
  • Support students in their chosen subjects, including STEM, Arts, Business, and Humanities.
  • Ensure all academic administration is completed to a high standard.
  • Work flexibly across a 24/7 summer school environment, with a 6-day work week.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with other staff to enhance the overall student experience.
  • Participate in school events, study tours, and excursions as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified EFL Teacher with relevant teaching experience.
  • Familiarity with CLIL and project-based learning methodologies.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching international students.
  • Experience with students aged 11-16.
  • Knowledge of academic pathways and curriculum design.
  • Experience with summer school or short-term teaching programmes.
