The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and assess learners up to Level 3 in the workplace and college;
  • Support learner progress through curriculum delivery and workplace assessments;
  • Ensure timely achievement of apprenticeship frameworks and standards;
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons;
  • Deliver training across multiple sites, requiring a full driving licence and use of a car for business purposes;
  • Maintain compliance with awarding body standards and equality, diversity, and inclusion policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Assessor qualification (TAQA/A1 or equivalent) or willingness to work towards;
  • Industry relevant qualifications to a minimum of Level 3 (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent);
  • Knowledge of awarding body standards and requirements;
  • Experience in further education;
  • Up-to-date occupational experience;
  • Full current driving licence and use of a car for business purposes;
  • Enhanced DBS check.

Preferred

  • Experience in vocational training or education;
  • Familiarity with equality, diversity, and inclusion in the learning environment;
  • Experience with apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
