The Opportunity:
As a Vocational Motor Vehicle Trainer, you will inspire and mentor apprentices to achieve excellence in their studies and future careers. This role is ideal for an experienced and motivated individual looking to make a real impact in education and industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and mentor learners up to Level 3 in the workplace and college.
- Support learner progress through assessment and curriculum delivery.
- Ensure timely achievement of apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons in line with policies.
- Deliver high-quality instruction in motor vehicle-related subjects.
- Collaborate with industry partners to ensure curriculum relevance and practical learning.
- Maintain up-to-date occupational experience and industry knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with equality, diversity, and inclusion standards in the learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards it.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards it.
- Industry relevant qualifications to a minimum of Level 3.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and assessment plans.
- Experience in further education.
- Up-to-date occupational experience.
- Full current driving licence, use of a car, and business insurance.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and delivery.
- Experience in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work across multiple sites and manage a flexible schedule.
