The Opportunity:
As an Estates and Facilities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of facilities across multiple campuses. This is a chance to contribute to the maintenance and compliance of a school’s infrastructure, supporting a safe and effective learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and maintain the school’s Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) program across all campuses.
- Monitor statutory inspections and compliance activities, including fire safety, legionella, gas, electrical, and lifting equipment.
- Maintain accurate compliance records and certification.
- Arrange and coordinate contractor works, including quotations, purchase orders, and site access.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure works are completed to specification and within budget.
- Promote the welfare of children and young people across all operations.
- Manage multiple priorities with strong organisational skills.
- Travel between campuses as required, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- GCSE Grade C (4/5) in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Evidence of continued professional development in Estates & Facilities administration of compliance.
- Experience in Estates, Facilities, or Property-related administrative or coordination roles.
- Knowledge of PPM programs and statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Full current driving licence, use of a car, and insurance for business purposes.
Preferred
- Experience with Estates and Facilities management across multiple locations.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance procedures.
- Experience in coordinating contractor works and managing projects.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £29,838 to £32,579 per annum.
