The Opportunity:
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, engaging curriculum that supports the holistic development of young learners. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an enriched UK National Curriculum to Key Stage 1 students.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and lifelong learning.
- Utilise technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and assessment practices.
- Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular activities and wider community initiatives.
- Support the school’s mission of Positive Education by promoting character strengths and wellbeing.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and the school community to ensure student progress and development.
- Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum of a B.Ed., B.A. & PGCE with QTS.
- Proven experience in delivering the UK National Curriculum at Key Stage 1.
- Strong academic background and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage young learners.
- Commitment to Positive Education and character development.
Preferred
- Experience in middle leadership roles or interest in pursuing leadership opportunities.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and apps to enhance learning.
- Involvement in extra-curricular activities and community engagement.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL).
