Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver an enriched UK National Curriculum to Key Stage 1 students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and lifelong learning.
• Utilise technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and assessment practices.
• Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular activities and wider community initiatives.
• Support the school’s mission of Positive Education by promoting character strengths and wellbeing.
• Maintain strong communication with parents and the school community to ensure student progress and development.
• Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum of a B.Ed., B.A. & PGCE with QTS.
• Proven experience in delivering the UK National Curriculum at Key Stage 1.
• Strong academic background and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage young learners.
• Commitment to Positive Education and character development.

Preferred

• Experience in middle leadership roles or interest in pursuing leadership opportunities.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and apps to enhance learning.
• Involvement in extra-curricular activities and community engagement.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL).
