Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Faculty in driving high standards of teaching and learning.
• Coach and mentor faculty staff to improve classroom practice.
• Observe lessons and share best practices across the team.
• Assist in curriculum planning, policy development, and faculty improvement plans.
• Monitor student progress and lead interventions for underperforming students.
• Contribute to schemes of work and ensure alignment with exam specifications.
• Communicate effectively with parents and pastoral teams.
• Lead or support extra-curricular activities and faculty events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in English education.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Experience in curriculum development and policy implementation.
• Ability to monitor and support student progress effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Experience in coaching or leading faculty teams.
• Background in teaching IGCSE or A Level English.
• Familiarity with EAL support strategies.
• Experience with extra-curricular activity planning and delivery.
