Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons to students of varying ages and abilities
- Mark student work and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge through continuous professional development
- Select and use a variety of learning resources and equipment
- Prepare students for qualifications and external examinations
- Manage classroom and school behaviour effectively
- Support students through pastoral duties, including form tutoring
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers on student progress
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to support student needs
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Native level of English
- Relevant teaching qualification and experience
- Ability to work within a British curriculum framework
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education
Preferred
- Experience in a British or international school setting
- Experience with pastoral care and student support
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program
- Experience in curriculum development and delivery
- Strong organisational and time management skills
