Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Assess and track student progress using Target Tracker and other assessment tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver effective teaching strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding student progress and development.
• Manage classroom behavior in a way that supports student learning and well-being.
• Support students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds, including those for whom English is not their first language.
• Participate in extra-curricular activities and contribute to the overall school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience.
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.

Preferred

• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
• A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life.
