The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and innovative Teacher of Creative iMedia and ICT to join a growing and high-performing department. This role offers the opportunity to lead curriculum development and deliver high-quality teaching across key stages 3 to 4, with potential for KS5. The role includes a TLR 2.2 for curriculum leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach ICT and Creative iMedia across KS3–KS4 (with the possibility of KS5 depending on experience)
• Lead and develop the KS3 IT and Creative iMedia/IT curriculum
• Contribute to an innovative, collaborative, and high-performing department
• Support the school’s mission to deliver inclusive and high-quality learning experiences
• Work with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school
• Use assessment and data to drive student improvement
• Engage in continuous professional development and curriculum innovation
• Contribute to the wider school community through leadership and collaboration

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in ICT and Creative iMedia
• Strong classroom practice and commitment to inclusive teaching
• Experience in curriculum development and leadership
• Ability to use data to improve student outcomes
• Commitment to safeguarding and professional standards

Preferred

• Experience in leading a curriculum or department
• Experience with KS3 and KS4 teaching
• Familiarity with Creative iMedia and IT qualifications
• Experience with assessment and data analysis
• Experience in whole-school leadership or cross-departmental collaboration
