The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students at GCSE level.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote student achievement and enthusiasm for learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school’s leadership programme and broader curriculum initiatives.
- Support the school’s mission by fostering a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and leadership skills.
- Engage with students on a personal level to nurture their academic and personal growth.
- Contribute to school events and activities that promote the values of respect, discipline, and mutual care.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience of teaching to GCSE standard.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Demonstrated experience in driving student progress and achievement.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a faith-based or inclusive educational setting.
- Experience with leadership development or character education.
- Experience in innovative and creative teaching methods.
- Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational structure.
