Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A Level
  • Support students in developing practical and theoretical knowledge in Technology
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices
  • Participate in the school’s enrichment programme and extracurricular activities
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate them into teaching
  • Provide pastoral support to students where appropriate
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Technology Department
  • Work with dedicated technicians to ensure the best use of school facilities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
  • Experience in teaching Technology at secondary level
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A Level Technology
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM and digital manufacturing tools
  • Experience with Food Preparation and Nutrition or Textiles
  • Background in professional development or leadership within a school setting
