Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, challenging, and inspiring lessons across KS3 to KS5.
- Foster a love of learning and support students in achieving excellent outcomes.
- Continuously improve teaching and learning practices using IRIS and regular drop-in feedback.
- Contribute to the development and success of a high-performing English department.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a comprehensive and impactful curriculum.
- Support the school’s mission of providing a positive, inclusive, and aspirational learning environment.
- Engage in professional learning and development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Participate in the school’s extra-curricular and enrichment activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in English education.
- Strong subject knowledge in English, with the ability to teach across KS3 to KS5.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Experience in delivering effective and engaging lessons.
- A track record of achieving positive outcomes for students.
- Familiarity with the school’s context and values.
Preferred
- Experience with IRIS and regular drop-in feedback systems.
