Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously improve teaching and learning practices using IRIS and regular drop-in feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and success of a high-performing English department.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a comprehensive and impactful curriculum.

  • Engage in professional learning and development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in English education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in English, with the ability to teach across KS3 to KS5.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Experience in delivering effective and engaging lessons.
  • A track record of achieving positive outcomes for students.
  • Familiarity with the school’s context and values.

Preferred

  • Experience with IRIS and regular drop-in feedback systems.
  • Experience in a high-performing school or department.

  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
