Key Responsibilities:

- Use IRIS and regular drop-in feedback to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental strategies.
- Take an active role in shaping departmental improvement and strategy.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning through continuous professional development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth.
- Work closely with senior and middle leaders to drive up educational standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong subject knowledge in History.
- Proven ability to deliver effective and engaging lessons.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Experience in using IRIS and feedback mechanisms to enhance teaching performance.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve shared goals.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in a school environment with a focus on student achievement and pastoral care.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching History across a range of abilities and ages.
