The Opportunity:

An English Teacher is needed to inspire and educate students across the Boys Senior School. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds, foster a love of literature, and contribute to a vibrant and successful department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons to students of all abilities.
  • Foster a love of literature, language, and learning through innovative teaching methods.
  • Support students in achieving outstanding academic progress and personal development.
  • Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and enrichment programs.
  • Participate actively in the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong subject knowledge in English and a passion for teaching.
  • Excellent classroom management and teaching skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality education to students in a school setting.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development and enrichment activities.
  • Demonstrated success in student engagement and academic achievement.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar qualifications.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and students.
