The Opportunity:
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic journey of students and fostering a passion for mathematics. You will work within a dynamic and collaborative department, delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire learners of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to students across all key stages
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing detailed feedback and reports
- Set and mark high-quality, challenging work in line with school standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning practices
- Participate in professional development and training to maintain and enhance teaching skills
- Support the school’s mission to provide a well-rounded education that prepares students for the future
- Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and departmental initiatives
- Work across both the Boys’ and Girls’ schools as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A strong degree-level qualification in a relevant subject
- Ability to teach Maths up to A level
- 3 A-Levels at grades C and above (or equivalent)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths
- Commitment to student success and a collaborative team approach
Preferred
- Experience in teaching across mixed-gender settings
- Experience with professional development and curriculum development
- Experience with pastoral care and student support
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies
