Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in secondary education
  • Proven track record of strong student progress and attainment
  • Deep knowledge and passion for English literature and language
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to extracurricular enrichment and student engagement
  • Ability to plan and deliver thought-provoking lessons that challenge and inspire

Preferred

  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation in teaching
  • Familiarity with digital tools and iPad-based learning
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support
  • Background in National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) or similar professional development
  • Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives
