Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons that inspire a lifelong love of learning.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student achievement and progress.
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of the school’s wider curriculum and extracurricular activities.
- Support the school’s values of belonging, engagement, and success through positive role modeling.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Stay up to date with developments in Maths education and incorporate new teaching methods where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Maths experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience of teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience of teaching in a school with a strong academic reputation.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience of working in a co-educational environment.
- Experience with inclusion and differentiated teaching strategies.
