Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Proven experience in teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong knowledge of English literature and the ability to design engaging, curriculum-focused lessons.
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and a supportive, inclusive teaching approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL).
  • Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives or curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology integration in the classroom.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student mentorship.
