Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Proven experience in teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong knowledge of English literature and the ability to design engaging, curriculum-focused lessons.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and a supportive, inclusive teaching approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL).
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives or curriculum development.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology integration in the classroom.
- Experience in pastoral care or student mentorship.
