Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic English lessons to students across all key stages.

  • Support students in achieving high academic outcomes, including Oxbridge offers and top A Level grades.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced and passionate English teachers.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to departmental planning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and creativity.
  • Monitor and assess student progress using the school’s internally designed assessment framework.
  • Engage with students and parents to support learning and development beyond the classroom.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching English at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge of English literature and language.
  • Commitment to student achievement and a passion for teaching.
