Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Support students in developing their reading, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students as part of a strong tutor team.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high standard of teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching A level English.
