As a PE and Humanities Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring and motivating students, delivering high-quality teaching and learning in both subjects. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in PE and Humanities, tailored to the needs of students at all ability levels.
- Plan and implement creative and effective teaching strategies that support student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to departmental development and improvement.
- Use ongoing assessment and feedback to monitor and support student learning and development.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, including sports, clubs, and enrichment programs.
- Support the whole person development of students, including their spiritual, moral, and social growth.
- Work closely with Curriculum Leaders to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality provision across all year groups.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to community engagement and charitable initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching PE and Humanities.
- Willingness and ability to teach History and/or Geography to Key Stage 3.
- Commitment to high-quality planning, teaching, and learning.
- Strong ability to assess and provide constructive feedback to support student progress.
- Experience working in a school environment with a strong community ethos.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering creative and innovative lessons.
- Background in teaching at Key Stage 4 or 5.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Familiarity with Catholic values and ethos.
- Involvement in extracurricular or community activities.
