As a PE and Humanities Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring and motivating students, delivering high-quality teaching and learning in both subjects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in PE and Humanities, tailored to the needs of students at all ability levels.
  • Plan and implement creative and effective teaching strategies that support student progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to departmental development and improvement.
  • Use ongoing assessment and feedback to monitor and support student learning and development.
  • Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, including sports, clubs, and enrichment programs.
  • Support the whole person development of students, including their spiritual, moral, and social growth.
  • Work closely with Curriculum Leaders to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality provision across all year groups.
  • Contribute to the school’s commitment to community engagement and charitable initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching PE and Humanities.
  • Willingness and ability to teach History and/or Geography to Key Stage 3.
  • Commitment to high-quality planning, teaching, and learning.
  • Strong ability to assess and provide constructive feedback to support student progress.
  • Experience working in a school environment with a strong community ethos.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering creative and innovative lessons.
  • Background in teaching at Key Stage 4 or 5.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
  • Familiarity with Catholic values and ethos.
  • Involvement in extracurricular or community activities.
