• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons that inspire and challenge students
• Support students to achieve high standards in literacy and critical thinking

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning across the school
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral care
• Uphold and promote the Catholic ethos and values of the school
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback
• Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS
• Proven experience in teaching English at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to student achievement
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
• Experience in delivering inclusive and differentiated lessons
• Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Experience in pastoral care or student support
• Leadership or mentoring experience
• Experience in coeducational settings
