Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as clubs, trips, and performances.

  • Participate in school-wide initiatives, including the transformation of the assembly hall into a modern performance space.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching English at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievement.
  • Experience in developing and delivering creative and engaging lessons.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching second subjects such as film studies, languages, or social sciences.
  • Experience with extra-curricular activities and student leadership programs.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices and student support strategies.
  • Experience working in a comprehensive or city school setting.
