Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that challenge and motivate students to achieve excellence in English.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in English education.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes at GCSE level.
  • Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to the value and importance of English as a subject.
  • Passion for inspiring and motivating students to achieve their best.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and curriculum development.
  • Leadership experience or potential for future leadership roles within the department.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar.
  • Background in pastoral care or student support.
