Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clean and hygienic environments across multiple school sites.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and health and safety procedures.
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene standards and health regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to support the smooth running of the school.
• Adhere to the school’s values and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Support the implementation of flexible working arrangements where applicable.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in a similar cleaning role within an educational setting.
• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to engage with others.

Preferred

• Experience working in a multi-academy trust or large educational institution.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a school environment.
• Flexibility to work across different locations in the North.
• Experience with cleaning in high-traffic areas or shared spaces.
