The Opportunity:

We are seeking dedicated Exam Invigilators, Scribes and Readers to ensure a professional and procedurally correct exam experience for students. Whether you specialise in one area or are happy to take on all three roles, your attention to detail and calm presence will make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up exam rooms and ensure all materials are prepared according to procedure.
  • Ensure pupils receive the correct question and answer papers and that all procedures are followed rigorously.
  • Read exam instructions and questions aloud clearly and accurately for Reader responsibilities.
  • Produce accurate, verbatim transcripts of answers for Scribe responsibilities.
  • Support the smooth running of exam sessions across multiple periods throughout the academic year.
  • Attend comprehensive initial and annual refresher training to maintain standards.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to deliver a high-quality exam experience.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety during exams.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undergo initial and annual refresher training.
  • Availability during key exam periods: November, January/February, and May/June.

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational or exam-related role.
  • Familiarity with exam procedures and regulations.
  • Experience with scribing or reading instructions aloud.
  • Flexibility to work during morning or afternoon sessions as required.
