As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and smooth running of examinations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth and secure conduct of all examinations in accordance with official guidelines.
  • Monitor and supervise students during examinations to maintain a fair and controlled environment.
  • Report any irregularities or concerns to the relevant staff promptly.
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of examination materials and venues.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding and data protection policies at all times.
  • Attend training sessions to stay updated on examination procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with teaching and administrative staff to support the examination process.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain discipline in a controlled environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
  • Availability to work during examination periods, typically between May and June.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an educational or examination setting.
  • A background in education or a related field.
  • Experience with exam invigilation or similar roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
