The Opportunity:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of internal and external examinations. This casual position offers flexibility, with increased hours during peak exam periods. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to ensure you are fully prepared for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise exams in line with JCQ regulations
- Ensure exam conditions are maintained and students follow procedures
- Distribute and collect exam papers and materials
- Complete attendance registers and seating plans
- Support students entering and exiting the exam room, including late arrivals
- Report concerns or malpractice to senior staff
- Maintain the security and integrity of exam papers
- Communicate clearly with students and staff during the exam process
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised and able to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Awareness of safeguarding
- Reliable, professional and confident in managing exam rooms
Preferred
- Experience in a school or working with young people
- General admin experience
