Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create individualized education plans.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular updates and recommendations.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on inclusive teaching practices.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and school policies related to special educational needs.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and support across the school community.
  • Coordinate resources and support services to meet the needs of all students.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align SEN strategies with overall school goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN policy and legal requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  • Experience in developing and implementing individualized education plans.

Preferred
