Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create individualized education plans.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular updates and recommendations.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on inclusive teaching practices.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and school policies related to special educational needs.
- Promote a culture of inclusion and support across the school community.
- Coordinate resources and support services to meet the needs of all students.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align SEN strategies with overall school goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of SEN policy and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
- Experience in developing and implementing individualized education plans.
Preferred
