Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students and families through personalized guidance and care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community.
  • Coordinate with teachers and support staff to create individualized support plans.
  • Provide advice and assistance on academic, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to parents and guardians.
  • Organize and deliver workshops and events to support student success.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and practices that support student welfare.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working in a support role within an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to the school’s values of determination, integrity, and respect.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Preferred

  • Experience in family support or youth work.
  • Knowledge of student welfare and pastoral care.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and supporting students from a range of backgrounds.
  • Experience in delivering workshops or training sessions.
  • Familiarity with educational policies and procedures.
