The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students can fully express their knowledge in a secure and supportive exam environment. This is a casual role, with the potential to become an ongoing annual position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the security of examination papers in accordance with examination board regulations at all times.
  • Support students in expressing their knowledge and optimising their performance during exams.
  • Assist the Exams Officer with the day-to-day operation of examination venues.
  • Help with other examination processes as required.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children in your care.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory procedures during exam sessions.
  • Attend full training provided by the school.
  • Work flexible hours, including early morning and afternoon shifts.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in a role that requires attention to detail and responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an educational or exam setting.
  • Experience with conducting exams or invigilating.
  • Knowledge of examination regulations and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work on a zero-hour contract basis.
