The Opportunity:
As a Lead Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and secure delivery of examinations. This is a leadership position within the exams team, offering the chance to support and guide others while maintaining the highest standards of exam integrity and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage invigilation staff to ensure efficient and effective exam administration
- Prepare and oversee the setup of exam rooms and materials
- Monitor and enforce exam procedures to maintain a calm, secure, and compliant environment
- Support the Examinations Officer with a wide range of administrative tasks
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the smooth running of exam days
- Ensure strict adherence to exam policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders
- Support the delivery of a positive and professional experience for students and staff
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in exam invigilation
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Calm, professional, and composed under pressure
- Commitment to maintaining exam integrity and confidentiality
Preferred
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Previous experience in an educational setting
- Familiarity with exam administration systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
