The Opportunity:

As an Examination Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth administration of internal and external examinations, while supporting data management processes. This is a key position that contributes directly to the academic success and well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage exam entries, timetabling, seating plans, and invigilation arrangements.
  • Ensure compliance with JCQ regulations and secure handling of all examination materials.
  • Support the administration of results, appeals, and access arrangements.
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze student data using systems such as Arbor, Google Sheets, SISRA, ALPS, and FFT.
  • Assist in tracking, target setting, and school improvement through data insights.
  • Collaborate closely with the Examination Officer and Data Manager.
  • Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the school’s assessment and reporting systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in examination administration or data management within an educational setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using data management systems such as Arbor, Google Sheets, and ALPS.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working in a school or college environment.
  • Knowledge of JCQ regulations and examination procedures.
  • Experience with SISRA, FFT, or other assessment and reporting systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
