The Opportunity:
As an Examination Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth administration of internal and external examinations, while supporting data management processes. This is a key position that contributes directly to the academic success and well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage exam entries, timetabling, seating plans, and invigilation arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with JCQ regulations and secure handling of all examination materials.
- Support the administration of results, appeals, and access arrangements.
- Collect, maintain, and analyze student data using systems such as Arbor, Google Sheets, SISRA, ALPS, and FFT.
- Assist in tracking, target setting, and school improvement through data insights.
- Collaborate closely with the Examination Officer and Data Manager.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the school’s assessment and reporting systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in examination administration or data management within an educational setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using data management systems such as Arbor, Google Sheets, and ALPS.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Previous experience working in a school or college environment.
- Knowledge of JCQ regulations and examination procedures.
- Experience with SISRA, FFT, or other assessment and reporting systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
