The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the school’s examination centre.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth examination processes.
  • Oversee the training and development of support staff in exams management.
  • Monitor and report on examination performance and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Support the transition of responsibilities from the current lead specialist.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in exams administration.
  • Provide guidance and support to students and staff regarding examination processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting, preferably in exams management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of students.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in managing exams centres or similar roles.
  • Knowledge of GCSE and A-Level examination systems.
  • Experience in training and mentoring others.
  • Familiarity with educational software and databases.
