The Opportunity:
As an Exams Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth administration of exams and assessments across the school. This is a key position that supports the delivery of a high-quality education to students in a disadvantaged community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the administration of internal and external examinations.
- Ensure the accurate recording and processing of exam results and data.
- Develop and maintain effective systems for managing exam data and reporting.
- Liaise with teachers, students, and external exam boards to ensure compliance with procedures.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of exam materials and resources.
- Support the implementation of assessment policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on exam performance and trends.
- Collaborate with the wider business support team to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
- Experience managing and developing school MIS software and data systems, such as Bromcom.
- Experience producing accurate data for reporting and assessment.
- Proficiency in MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Access.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work efficiently and accurately under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience with exam administration in a school setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of educational policies and procedures.
