The Opportunity:

As an Exams Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth administration of exams and assessments across the school. This is a key position that supports the delivery of a high-quality education to students in a disadvantaged community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the administration of internal and external examinations.
  • Ensure the accurate recording and processing of exam results and data.
  • Develop and maintain effective systems for managing exam data and reporting.
  • Liaise with teachers, students, and external exam boards to ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of exam materials and resources.
  • Support the implementation of assessment policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on exam performance and trends.
  • Collaborate with the wider business support team to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
  • Experience managing and developing school MIS software and data systems, such as Bromcom.
  • Experience producing accurate data for reporting and assessment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Access.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work efficiently and accurately under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience with exam administration in a school setting.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures.
