The Opportunity:
As an Exams Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth administration of public examinations and certifications. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organised, customer-focused, and dedicated to maintaining compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of public examination processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with staff, students, and external agencies.
- Ensure compliance with college and awarding body regulations.
- Support the Exams team in delivering a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
- Monitor and update examination records and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of examination materials.
- Provide guidance and support to students and staff regarding examination processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in exam administration or a related field.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with examination regulations and procedures.
Preferred
- Experience in a sixth form or higher education setting.
- Knowledge of awarding body requirements and compliance procedures.
- Experience with digital systems used in exam administration.
- Previous exposure to working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
