The Opportunity:

As an Exams Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of exams and data management across the institution. This role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the administration of internal and external examinations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of exam data using relevant systems.
  • Liaise with departments, students, and external organisations to coordinate exam schedules and requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports related to exams and data.
  • Support the MIS (Management Information System) team in data entry and analysis.
  • Assist with the preparation of exam timetables and resources.
  • Provide guidance and support to students and staff regarding exam procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in managing exams or working with data in an educational setting.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience using MIS or similar management systems.

Preferred

  • Experience in a sixth form or further education setting.
  • Knowledge of exam regulations and procedures.
  • Experience with data analysis tools or software.
  • Previous experience in a support role within education.
