The Opportunity:
The Executive Assistant to the Head will provide high-level support to the Head, ensuring the smooth delivery of priorities and managing a complex and dynamic workload. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the Head’s schedule, commitments and correspondence with professionalism and discretion.
- Provide exceptional administrative support, including preparing reports, managing meetings and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Anticipate the Head’s needs and proactively identify opportunities to support her priorities and goals.
- Maintain a high standard of communication, both written and verbal, across all levels of the school.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, ensuring seamless collaboration and support across the institution.
- Ensure the efficient and confidential handling of sensitive information and matters.
- Support the Head in the delivery of school-wide initiatives and strategic objectives.
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of events, meetings and other school-related activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive support role.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of discretion and professional judgement.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex tasks with efficiency.
Preferred
- Experience working in an educational or academic environment.
- Familiarity with school governance and leadership structures.
- Knowledge of educational policy and reform initiatives.
- Experience with managing senior-level commitments and priorities.
