Executive Assistant to the Head – Support the Head with exceptional administrative and organisational skills.

The Opportunity:

The Executive Assistant to the Head will provide high-level support to the Head, ensuring the smooth delivery of priorities and managing a complex and dynamic workload. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the Head’s schedule, commitments and correspondence with professionalism and discretion.
  • Provide exceptional administrative support, including preparing reports, managing meetings and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Anticipate the Head’s needs and proactively identify opportunities to support her priorities and goals.
  • Maintain a high standard of communication, both written and verbal, across all levels of the school.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, ensuring seamless collaboration and support across the institution.
  • Ensure the efficient and confidential handling of sensitive information and matters.
  • Support the Head in the delivery of school-wide initiatives and strategic objectives.
  • Assist with the preparation and organisation of events, meetings and other school-related activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive support role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of discretion and professional judgement.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex tasks with efficiency.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an educational or academic environment.
  • Familiarity with school governance and leadership structures.
  • Knowledge of educational policy and reform initiatives.
  • Experience with managing senior-level commitments and priorities.
