The Opportunity:
As the Head of Tutoring Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational excellence and educational integrity of a growing tutoring division. This role is pivotal in driving growth, improving systems, and delivering exceptional service to students, parents, and tutors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize day-to-day operational systems, including CRM and internal platforms, to support business growth and efficiency.
- Act as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), ensuring all tutoring programs meet the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the finance team by providing accurate and timely information and liaising with the Education Support Team.
- Monitor and manage performance of key sales channels, ensuring targets are met and response times are maintained.
- Conduct discovery calls and virtual meetings to understand client needs and convert leads into long-term relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, councils, and elite athlete families, managing complex tuition programs with care.
- Analyze client conversion and retention funnels, identifying bottlenecks and implementing strategies to improve results.
- Lead and develop the Education Support Team, ensuring they are trained and equipped to deliver high-quality service.
- Oversee the recruitment, professional development, and performance of the tutor team, ensuring precise and effective matching with clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior operational or management role within the education, EdTech, or premium service sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and develop cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage complex relationships.
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in Google Workspace and CRM systems, including AI tools.
Preferred
- Experience with safeguarding and regulatory compliance in educational settings.
- Background in client relationship management and sales funnel optimization.
- Experience in leading process improvement initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £45,000.
- Fully remote working with four required in-person meetings per year in London.
