We are seeking an innovative and inspirational Executive Headteacher to lead and shape the future of education services at a school dedicated to supporting autistic learners. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the strategic direction, quality, and outcomes of the school and college.
- Act as an ambassador for education services, engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement policies that promote inclusive education and support for autistic students.
- Foster strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based teaching and learning experiences.
- Oversee the performance of staff and provide leadership and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of educational programs to ensure continuous improvement.
- Promote the school’s values and ethos across all aspects of operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles within education, particularly in special needs settings.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- In-depth knowledge of autism and inclusive education practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the school’s mission and values.
Preferred
- Experience in managing multi-site educational environments.
- Background in leading curriculum development and innovation.
- Experience with transdisciplinary teams and specialist support services.
- Familiarity with the Ambitious Approach to education.
- Experience in working with external partners and community organizations.
