Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, teach, and assess EYFS education lessons that support physical, social, and emotional development.
• Deliver inclusive and engaging lessons that cater to diverse abilities and promote confidence and teamwork.
• Teach swimming and ensure pupils develop water confidence, swimming techniques, and an understanding of water safety.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support school initiatives, including extracurricular activities and inter-school competitions.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate pupils with English as an additional language and ensure equity and inclusion.
• Contribute to curriculum development and ensure alignment with the school’s philosophy and international standards.
• Promote positive relationships with parents and carers, and support community engagement and partnerships.
• Uphold health and safety standards across all areas of the curriculum and during playground duties.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• PGCE or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of two years of experience as an EYFS Class Teacher.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.
• Experience in behaviour management and classroom leadership.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching swimming or water safety.
• Experience with English as an Additional Language (EAL) support.
• Familiarity with international curriculum standards and teaching methodologies.
• Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
