The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-qualified EYFS/KS1 Teacher to join our vibrant and successful Pre-Prep School. This role offers the chance to shape young minds through a creative, project-based curriculum and to contribute to a collaborative, supportive teaching community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in EYFS and/or Key Stage 1 that foster curiosity and independent learning.
- Plan and implement a purposeful, motivating curriculum with a focus on pupil agency and academic progress.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team and other teachers to develop and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Support the school’s commitment to inclusion and diversity by creating an environment where all students can thrive.
- Participate in a strong induction and professional development framework to enhance teaching practice and leadership skills.
- Lead a subject area across the Pre-Prep and contribute to curriculum development and innovation.
- Engage in extracurricular activities, including specialist lessons in music, drama, and sports.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students through adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in EYFS and/or Key Stage 1.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, creative curriculum.
- Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding.
- Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
Preferred
- Passion for maths teaching and understanding of Maths Mastery at KS1.
- Experience in leading a subject area or taking on middle management responsibilities.
- Experience with project-based learning and child-centered teaching approaches.
