The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our team and support young learners in their early educational journey. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' development in a supportive and high-achieving school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for Early Years Foundation Stage students
  • Assess and track pupil progress using a range of assessment tools and strategies
  • Create an inclusive, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
  • Model positive behaviour and maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support continuous improvement in teaching and learning
  • Work closely with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to student development
  • Implement school-wide initiatives and policies to support early years education
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture through active participation in team activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS)
  • Proven experience working with Early Years Foundation Stage students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning experiences
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection standards
  • Experience in planning and delivering curriculum-based lessons
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support diverse learning needs

Preferred

  • Experience with Early Career Teacher (ECT) development
  • Familiarity with high-quality early years resources and teaching strategies
  • Experience in implementing assessment and tracking systems
  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices
  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational structure
