The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our team and support young learners in their early educational journey. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' development in a supportive and high-achieving school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for Early Years Foundation Stage students
- Assess and track pupil progress using a range of assessment tools and strategies
- Create an inclusive, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Model positive behaviour and maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection
- Collaborate with colleagues to support continuous improvement in teaching and learning
- Work closely with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to student development
- Implement school-wide initiatives and policies to support early years education
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture through active participation in team activities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS)
- Proven experience working with Early Years Foundation Stage students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning experiences
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection standards
- Experience in planning and delivering curriculum-based lessons
- Flexibility and adaptability to support diverse learning needs
Preferred
- Experience with Early Career Teacher (ECT) development
- Familiarity with high-quality early years resources and teaching strategies
- Experience in implementing assessment and tracking systems
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices
- Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational structure
