Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
- Support students in building confidence and a lifelong interest in Maths and numerical reasoning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Work closely with multi-agency partners to address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of school policies and initiatives that promote student well-being and achievement.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Provide pastoral support to students, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Maths experience, preferably in KS3/KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience working with vulnerable or challenging students.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in alternative provision or special educational needs (SEN) settings.
- Leadership experience or interest in taking on a middle leadership role.
- Familiarity with multi-agency working and student reintegration strategies.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
