Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate budget setting and monitoring across the school.
• Prepare accurate statutory and governance reports on a timely basis.
• Support senior leaders and governors with clear and actionable financial information.
• Attend and present at finance committees and governing board meetings.
• Contribute to financial recovery and assurance activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
• Work closely with the Director of HR and Operations to maintain strong financial governance.
• Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified finance professional or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy public sector environment.
• Experience in financial reporting and governance.
