Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH needs through individualized learning strategies and pastoral care.
- Deliver targeted maths interventions to improve student attainment and confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop inclusive and effective learning plans.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to stakeholders.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, helping them navigate academic and personal challenges.
- Stay up to date with best practices in learning support and special educational needs.
- Contribute to the development of school-wide policies and initiatives focused on student well-being and academic success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- Strong knowledge and experience in maths teaching and support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to the values and mission of the school.
Preferred
- Experience in a Catholic or faith-based educational setting.
- Familiarity with inclusive education practices and SEN support strategies.
- Experience with curriculum development and differentiation.
- Previous experience in a mentorship or leadership role.
