The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Food and Nutrition Teacher to join a dynamic department and make a meaningful impact on students’ learning. This role offers the chance to deliver engaging theory and practical lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with the potential for part-time or full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Food and Nutrition lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4, covering both theory and practical components.
Collaborate with the wider Technology team to plan and deliver a cohesive curriculum.
Build positive relationships with students and support their academic and personal development.
Participate in extracurricular activities that enhance the school and local community.
Stay up to date with developments in the subject and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher with experience in Food and Nutrition or a related subject.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver lessons at Key Stage 4.
Commitment to raising student attainment and fostering a positive learning environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning.

Preferred

Experience with early career teacher support or leadership opportunities.
Familiarity with digital learning platforms and tools.
Experience in delivering extracurricular activities or community engagement projects.
